Restaurant Ladinia

The word ‘osteria’ reminds of a tavern where there is good life and food and wine aplenty. And here at Ladinia, also the half board restaurant for our guests, the march of the seasons is reflected also in the cuisine – all good wholesome stuff. Just think of the delight in savouring the fresh farmhouse dumplings, a cabbage type soup with crusty speck, tender ribs in a traditional recipe sauce, honey and marrow mash, grated onion soup with polenta and paprika. The list goes on and the common factor is the mountain life – a combination of simple choice and delicious taste.

As for the wine list it is a celebration of the mountain territory  – not only South Tyrol but the Alpine ranges in general, going from Valtellina to Franciacorta, to Trentino, to Piemonte and Champagne.

THE BAR

A bar that looks to the mountains

A meeting place, a stop on the way, a mix of langauges that goes from Ladin to Italian to German to English, and after a glass or two French and Spanish are easily added! Intended as a focal point to welcome and exchange with locals and visitors alike. With such a fine gathering even a little wait to get served is no big deal!

The bar is always open for breakfast and aperitif time, and on Wednesday evenings there is live music to accompany. What better way than with a touch of background music and song to enjoy a beer, a ‘miscela’ (our Ladin version of spritz, composed of spuma and red wine), or of course our favourite white or red tipple. Welcome to Ladinia!

 
THE RESTAURANTS OF HOTEL LA PERLA

A due passi da casa

Ladinia guests enjoy a half board arrangement with a healthy and abundant breakfast and a 4 course dinner served in our Alpine style stube. In certain periods it is possible to ‘have a change’ and enjoy the á la carte menus of Hotel La Perla, which is literally a stone’s throw away from Ladinia. In such cases there is a credit of Euro 40 person per day which can be used towards any bill. Here a list of restaurants available with relevant opening periods:

La Stüa de Michil

Tradition and innovation. Excellent ingredients. Balance and harmony. Chef Nicola Laera pays particular attention to the environemt around when preparing dishes: the mountains, the meadows, the woods, the waterfalls. He seeks out small gems of produce, pleasing to the eye and delicious on the palate. The restaurant is refined elegance itself and since 2002 boasts a Michelin star.

Les Stües

A sequence of stube, each with a  dominant colour: yellow, blue, red, green. Tables laid and set in a celebration of tradition and a touch of fantasy to blend with the creativity of Nicola’s cuisine. To dine at Les Stües is to experience an evening of marvel fit for the most

scrupulous of guests.

L'Murin

Bean soup and pork ribs are famous in all of Alta Badia and here is no exception. L’Murin is a delight and one feels immediately at home in this pleasant tavern style surround. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming ... and professional too! The menu is chosen from boards and either small or larger portions may be ordered. Certainly a place to spend a relaxing evening and seek out a tasty dish to celebrate happy and special eenings.

Bistrot

From north to south and viceversa. A search the length of the country for genuine ingredients to give style and taste to the menu. The spaghetti alla carbonara of Felicetti origin are pure sunshine, and the veal cutlets milanese style are a testimony to tradition.   The saddle of venison is a pure aroma from the woods, whilst the house strudel has a flakey consistency which equates with splendour

and goodness.
